SprinklerScore does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data through the app. Audit records are stored locally on your device. We cannot access them.
Who we are
SprinklerScore is provided by Dayton Thorpe, using Good Little Apps as a developer brand (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains what happens to information when you use SprinklerScore or contact us.
Information stored on your device
The app lets you enter sprinkler-zone labels, site labels, notes, test settings, catch-cup measurements, inspection observations, and optional zone area. Those records are stored locally using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks. We cannot access them.
SprinklerScore does not include automatic cloud synchronization. Apple device backups may include app data depending on your device and backup settings; Apple controls that service under its own terms and privacy practices.
Reports and exports
PDF reports and CSV exports are created locally. They leave SprinklerScore only when you deliberately use Apple’s share sheet and select a person, app, storage location, or service. The recipient you choose processes the exported information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Review an export before sharing it, especially if your labels or notes identify a property or person.
Purchases
SprinklerScore may offer a one-time in-app purchase through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the transaction. We do not receive your payment-card or bank details. The app receives the StoreKit transaction and entitlement information needed to unlock or restore the feature on your device.
Apple may separately provide developers with App Store financial, sales, and performance reports under Apple’s terms.
External links and public pages
If you open support, privacy, legal, or other external links, iOS opens the destination outside SprinklerScore. The destination and your browser receive the technical information normally needed to load a webpage.
The public SprinklerScore pages are hosted by GitHub Pages, so GitHub may process requests under its own privacy statement. SprinklerScore does not receive your browsing activity.
Support correspondence
If you choose to email support, we receive the email address, message, attachments, and any other information you include. We use it only to understand and respond to your request, maintain the security and reliability of the app, and meet legal obligations. Do not send catch readings, property labels, or other details that are not needed for support.
We retain support correspondence only as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and then delete or de-identify it, unless longer retention is legally required or needed to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Data collection and tracking
The shipping app is designed without third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. It does not track you, access the advertising identifier, combine app activity with third-party data, or use data for targeted advertising.
Apple may process App Store purchases, app downloads, crash reports, or device analytics when you use Apple services or have chosen to share diagnostics with Apple. Apple controls that processing; SprinklerScore does not add its own diagnostics or analytics collection.
Your choices
You can delete an individual audit from the app or delete all audits from Settings. Removing SprinklerScore also removes its local app data, subject to any backup retained under your Apple settings.
You decide whether to create or share a report, contact support, open an external link, or make the optional purchase. You may request deletion of support correspondence by emailing us from the address used for the request.
Children
SprinklerScore is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children. Because the app does not collect data through an account, analytics, or advertising system, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
Security
Keeping audit records on-device limits their exposure, but no device or storage system is guaranteed to be secure. Protect your device with an appropriate passcode, keep iOS current, and share exports only with destinations you trust.
Changes to this policy
If a future version materially changes the app’s data practices, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure before that version is released. The effective date above shows when this policy was last revised.
